After getting a deserved, if a bit underwhelming, point against a United team with nothing to play for, it is now time to go from one extreme to another and face the team that limped their way into relegation on Sunday.

While some of their performances this season made it look like the team is held together by nothing more than mutual interest in money, it would not surprise me if they stepped it up a notch for their last few games in the Premier League. Because they want to end the campaign with a bit of dignity and try to regain some respect for the club that is making them all millionaires? No. More for the fact that a large chunk of the team will be looking to secure a move away from club in the summer and see the last few games as an audition to get the attention of some of the top clubs.

It’s been speculated a lot in the past, and now recently, one thing that is abundantly clear is that Paris Saint-Germain definitely want Arsene Wenger as their new manager.

It remains unclear as to whether they’ll get their wish.

Le Parisien are reporting that he’ll meet with the French moneybags next week to discuss managing them next season. They’ve tried a couple of times before, and it’s unclear if this is related to the report that suggested the same thing was happening a few weeks ago.

It's been a while since Lukas Podolski's been linked away, but his inauspicious performance against Manchester United (perhaps) has led to new reports surfacing, suggesting that Turkish side Galatasaray are interested in luring him away after just one season.

They plan to offer Arsenal £12m and Podolski a 130,000K per week deal in order to recruit another big name forward after signing Didier Drogba in January.

According to Metro report Juventus, Bayer Leverkusen and Anzhi are all interested in the German as well, as has been speculated in the press.

We all know the tale of Cesc Fabregas, his dramatic return to Barcelona after eight years at Arsenal, which tore him apart (so much he went on strike to leave), and the constant speculation that he’ll return to the club that made him captain and brought him to prominence.

Do we dare?

Much like last summer, reports have emerged that Barcelona wish to offload more peripheral players like Fabregas to fund a move for a new striker and centre-back. Arsenal have first-refusal rights for Fabregas, and would only have to play £30m as opposed to his £75m release clause thanks to the buy-back installed in the contract by Arsene Wenger.

It’s fairly clear that Arsene Wenger is targeting another striker (or strikers) for next season, with Arsenal often lacking firepower at crucial moments. Olivier Giroud has had a reasonable debut campaign, but can’t be the only option.

Remy

It wouldn’t really be a transfer window without a link to Loic Remy for Arsenal, and now QPR have been relegated the rumours have resurfaced. Remy has an £8m release clause thanks to QPR going down, and Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle are all interested.
