After a summer of speculation, it seems Alexis Sanchez may be on his way to Manchester City. The information is that Manchester City have bid £60m which differs from the reported figure suggested.
However, no deal has been done yet as it will be down to one condition. Arsenal will only sell if they can sign a replacement.
A couple of names have been linked which include Julian Draxler and the long-term target Thomas Lemar. Lemar has been suggested by Sky Sports, flowed by news in the Mail that Arsenal have bid £90m to secure their target.
Although, losing Sanchez would be difficult to take the deal makes sense especially, if they secure Thomas Lemar, someone they have been tracking all summer. The reality is that Sanchez will leave on a free next year with barely any chance of extending hence, if they can sign a player on a long-term contract then it would be beneficial.
In regard to Draxler, Arsenal have been long term admirers but a deal would present difficulties. However, there may be a glimmer of hope as PSG are close to securing a permanent deal for Mbappe which would present an opportunity of PSG selling players.
