FulhamAfter Tuesday’s  2-2 draw away at Schalke, Arsenal will look to improve on their poor recent form in the league when they meet Fulham at the Emirates on Saturday.

However, it will be no easy task. The cottagers are unbeaten since September and will be looking to continue their good run.

Recent meetings

The last time the sides met resulted in a 2-1 victory for Fulham at Craven Cottage way back in January. In their last six meetings, Arsenal have won 3, drawn 2 and lost 1, so they will be hoping to continue their good record when they meet on Saturday.

It's nearing that wonderful time again, not quite the 'interlull' but still an international friendly game.

England announced their squad today, and while a couple of Arsenal players missed out (Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gibbs, both injured), all the available players made the squad.

Risky business

There was a fair bit of broohahah about Jack Wilshere's possible selection for England having just come back from injury and so on, but Roy Hodgson seems to have won out this time.

In the wake of a reasonably impressive performance by Arsenal in the 2-2 draw with Schalke yesterday evening, Jack Wilshere has said he's beginning to adapt to the new players around him at Arsenal.

All change

When he broke through in 2010/10, Arsenal's 'front five' consisted of Wilshere, Nasri, Fabregas, Van Persie and Walcott. Now only one of them remains, and Walcott's future is in the balance.

In a mirror of a couple of weeks ago, Arsenal find themselves hoping to bounce back from an abject Premier League defeat with a result against a strong Schalke side. The only difference being that Arsenal have to factor in a trip to Germany this time as well.

Looking for revenge

In the return fixture a fortnight back, the Gunners fell to a 2-0 home defeat, with Andre Santos giving Schalke a scent of blood down the right flank. It's unknown whether he'll start again tomorrow, but surely something will be done to prevent Jefferson Farfan having free reign.

Man UtdManchester United vs Arsenal is for me, the most difficult game on the domestic calendar.  It is the most nerve racking and sometimes downright depressing.

This season’s tie will have an added edge due to the appearance of the player who so famously left last season, apparently for ‘footballing reasons’.

Famous rivalry

Over the years the rivalry between Man U and us can be seen in terms of key battles.  Whether it be Fergie vs Wenger or Keane vs Vieira, these battles have always been there to add a bitter taste to a massive game.
