According to fresh reports emanating from the British media, Arsenal are all but set to launch a £8.5million bid, which they believe would be enough for Juventus to let Fernando Llorente jump ships this summer.
A Juventus spokesperson was recently quoted by the Sun saying that the Gunners were interested in him despite a bid not coming in and his claim goes in accordance with the claims of respected journalist Kike Marin.
“It’s Arsenal who’ve been in contact — not United,” a source told the paper.
“They have made an inquiry but there is no bid yet. But it is clear they are interested and it is also clear that Juventus are ready to listen.”
