Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko has stated that he is happy to stay at St. James’ Park this season following reports he wishes to leave the club.

The midfielder has been impressive this season for the Magpies, turning the heads of several clubs in Europe including Arsenal and French side PSG. Sissoko himself also spoke that the North London side were "the club of my heart" several weeks back amid speculation which linked the Frenchman to the Gunners.

Arsenal great Robert Pires has urged Arsenal to chase the signature of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette following his fantastic form shown in Ligue 1.

Pires has become a fan of Lacazette who is turning the heads of many clubs in Europe. Lacazette has shown fantastic form this season. The Lyon man has scored a staggering 21 goals from 22 games this season, lifting Lyon up to the top of the French League. He has also scored 2 goals in 2 in Lyon’s cup run this season.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims that Arsenal are heavily interested in the young Italian defender Daniele Rugani. Rugani is having a great season at Empoli following their promotion to Serie A.

He has played in every game for the side this season, a great feat for any twenty year old. Rugani has shone at youth level playing for the national team at every level since his debut for the Italian U17s in 2010.

Gabriel Paulista is to be given the number five shirt, formerly worn by Steve Bould, Martin Keown and Thomas Vermaelen and the Brazilian is all but set to step into the shoes of the aforementioned legends as his transfer will shortly be made official by the North London club.

As you read, the Brazilian might already have undergone his medical at Arsenal ahead of his proposed multi-million move to Arsenal.

Reports in Italy today are reporting that North London side, Tottenham Hotspur, have approached AS Roma over the availability of their forward Mattia Destro. Destro has struggled to get game time in the Roma side this season, being a bit part player and is said to be very frustrated at the Italian side.

Spurs had apparently enquired about Destro in the previous window, however a deal was not close to being made.
