Wenger to agree contract extension with Arsenal
Speculation surrounding the future of Arsene Wenger at Arsenal has been rife this season and with his contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign; there was widespread belief that the Frenchman would finally be ending his 21-year long association with the Gunners.
In surprise reports from the Daily Mirror though, claims have now been made that Arsenal want Wenger to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium and are planning to begin talks over a two year extension in March later this year.
There is a strong belief that if Wenger stays, the superstar duo of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will also extend their respective deals in North London and the Arsenal hierarchy are hopeful that they will be able to convince their manager to put pen to paper on a new contract.

Cazorla blow for Arsenal
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has gone on to reveal that star midfielder Santi Cazorla could potentially be ruled out for the rest of the season. Cazorla has been out of action since October after damaging his Achilles tendon and the Spaniard went through surgery in order to get the problem fixed.
However, the 32-year-old’s recovery process as not gone as well as anticipated and now Wenger has hinted that the ex-Villarreal star could well potentially be ruled out for the remainder of the current Premier League campaign.
Wenger was quoted saying by the Daily Mail, “Santi is far from starting to run again. He had a little procedure and we have a meeting with the medical people today to see what it really was.

Wilshere’s future at Arsenal in serious doubt
Jack Wilshere made a shock move from Arsenal to Bournemouth on a season long loan deal over the summer and the England international has since dropped huge hints that he could potentially leave the Emirates Stadium on a permanent basis.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refuted Wilshere’s claims though and the club have made it clear under no uncertain terms that they would like to keep hold of the services of the 25-year-old beyond the end of the current campaign.
However, the Daily Star have now gone on to report that Arsenal have not yet begun talks of a contract extension with Wilshere despite their intention to keep hold of the midfielder and there is now a strong possibility that the England international will leave the Gunners at the end of the season, with the likes of Manchester City and Milan interested.

Arsenal open talks to sign Lucas Moura
Arsenal have fallen behind in the race for the Premier League title and in order to get their pursuit of the English crown back in order, the Gunners are expected to strengthen their squad during the current January transfer window with a couple of signings.
A host of names have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in recent times and now according to reports from Italian outlet TuttoMercato, claims have been made that Arsenal have opened talks over a surprise swoop for Paris-Saint Germain star Lucas Moura.
Moura is undoubtedly one of the most exciting attacking players in Europe at the moment and it is believed that Arsenal are hopeful of luring the 24-year-old Brazilian international to North London, with his contract at Paris ending in 2019.

Ozil wants Wilshere’s shirt
Ozil has been wearing the number 11 jersey at Arsenal since his £42.5 million move from Real Madrid back in 2013 but the German international has now gone on to state that he wants the squad number 10.
The number 10 jersey at Arsenal is currently vacant following Jack Wilshere’s departure to Bournemouth this summer and speaking to the German media, Ozil has insisted that he would like to take over the number as it is available at the moment.
The playmaker was quoted saying by the Kicker (via the Daily Mirror), "Since Wilshere’s departure last summer, the number is free, but I have yet to get it."
