French right-back Mathieu Debuchy will be announced as an Arsenal player within the next 48 hours, after Newcastle agreed terms with Dutch replacement Daryl Janmaat.

He’s Gunner Sign

Debuchy, as revealed by Arsenal Latest last week, has signed on the dotted line for the Gunners and is waiting for the all clear by the Magpies in order to announce his big money move to the Gunners.

With around £10 million the touted transfer fee, the Frenchman will replace his compatriot Bacary Sagna, who departed the club for rivals Manchester City in May.

After the excitement Arsenal fans had upon hearing that German World Cup winner Sami Khedira was set to join the club, we have once upon seemingly been lead down a false trail as new reports have now emerged that the proposed transfer has hit a snag.

Wage demands

Arsenal’s current highest earners are Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez who are both believed to be on around £130,000 a week. However, for Khedira to come to North London his demands would mean he becomes the clubs new highest earner.

Following the wake of Germany’s first World Cup win in 24 years, key man throughout the tournament Sami Khedira has agreed personal terms to sign with Arsenal.

Fresh Start

The midfielder, who was injured in the warm-up last night, has been unhappy at Real Madrid after being kept out the team by Luka Modric and Angel di Maria last season.

However, his request to leave has been granted by his club, after Madrid have become increasingly confident of landing two new signings in the form of Colombian James Rodriguez and one of Khedira’s compatriots Toni Kroos.

After being priced out of a move for other goalkeepers, Arsenal are finalising transfer talks over Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina.

Open for Negotiations

The 25-year-old, who kept two clean sheets during the World Cup, is subject to a £3 million move to Arsenal, after French side Nice told the club they are open for negotiations.

As revealed by Arsenal Latest on Sunday, the player has agreed personal terms with the Gunners and will leave his club of six years with 12 months to go on his current contract.

Once touted as a future Arsenal captain, young midfielder Jack Wilshere has landed himself in hot water yet again, after being caught smoking and drinking on a holiday this week.

Wilshere, only 22-years-old, has tested the patience of the Arsenal hierarchy yet again, after pictures were spread over the Internet today over his holiday antics with friends in Las Vegas.

Wrong Direction

Accompanied by England teammate Joe Hart, this isn’t the first time that Wilshere has been caught abusing his body in the public eye.
