With Arsenal supporters already known to be frustrated with the transfer activity at the Emirates Stadium, reports emanating from Spain seem to touch their nerves as they claim that their favourite in Nacho Monreal could move back to his homeland this winter.
The former Malaga fullback reportedly caught the eyes of Athletic Bilbao this summer, with their interest going to the extent of the player reaching an agreement only for the transfer to be blocked by Arsene Wenger. Express now claims that they could come knocking for him again in January.

The transfer window has slammed shut in England and Arsenal fans are reflecting on an unsuccessful transfer window once again.
After signing Cech early in the summer this was supposed to be the window where Wenger got the players he needed and lift Arsenal to premier league glory once again. However, Wenger had other ideas and failed to sign anybody else. There were rumours right until the last minute hoping Arsenal could get a Benzema or Cavani over the line but that was not possible.

Arsenal strikers failed to fire again as the Gunners managed to see off Newcastle United with an unintended help from Fabricio Coloccini and their manager, Arsene Wenger subtly slammed his striker for not scoring despite dominating the final third.
Talking to the press after the whistle at Saint James’ Park, the French manager admitted that his side had to improve, having failed to fire offensively against a ten-man mid-table club. He also announced that he would not mind adding to his roster in the event of finding an exceptional player.
