Arsenal failed to bring in a striker despite their reported attempts to sign the likes of Simone Zaza and Karim Benzema among others. As a result, Theo Walcott has been given what he has been hankering for – a central role and he has now claimed that he could do a decent job up front.
The Gunners strikers have been widely censured for not being clinical, but goals seem to steadily coming as of late. The English international, despite scoring only two goals in eight outings, admitted his delight over spearheading the lineup and stated that his runs could be decisive.

Arsene Wenger broke down the widespread misconception that he never spends big on his players when he brought down Mesut Ozil for £42.5million two seasons ago, but the midfielder has now opened up to German media outlet Express about his transfer fee.
When he was asked to comment on the transfer fee that Manuel Pellegrini had paid for Kevin de Bruyne, he stated that any player rated above £36.8million could be deemed to be overpriced and added that football could soon lose traction with reality in the event of clubs failing to put an end to this trend.

Alexis Sanchez, alongside the likes of Francis Coquelin, was one of the standout performers at Arsenal last season, having scored 25 goals in all competitions, but is yet to open his account this season to add more misery to poor start to their campaign.
The Chilean striker was heavily involved in the Copa America winning Chile national team and is still struggling to be that lethal weapon that he was last season. Arsene Wenger admitted that he used him when he still had his national duties hangover stating that he was physically unfit to feature that early for the Gunners.

Arsenal have been struggling for form this season, having won only a meagre of four games in eight, but their manager, Arsene Wenger believes that his men have been the best away from home, while speaking to the press ahead of the Leicester clash.
Of the four wins, three were registered when the Gunners were the visitors. The Frenchman admitted the difficulty in not playing at Emirates Stadium, but went on to pat his own shoulder for their decent away record, lauding the mental qualities of his side.
