Arsenal were tipped to land their long-term target in Karim Benzema all summer by the European media, but the striker cleared the cloud stating that Santiago Bernabeu is his home. English media outlet Metro, however, now claims that the Gunners would again attempt to make Emirates Stadium his new home.
Real Madrid have time and again reiterated that they would opt against selling the French striker at all costs as they would then be left without even a single out-and-out world-class centre-forward.

Arsenal strolled by a sloppy Stoke side to climb to the second spot thanks to goals from Theo Walcott and substitute Olivier Giroud, but the Gunners ensured their goal conversion rate remained poor as the striking duo missed a few sitters.
Theo admitted that his name should have appeared on the score-sheet more than once, but expressed his delight to have gone off the mark after a dismal start to the season. He appeared to be altruistic as he called for the fans to recognize the role of midfield anchorman Francis Coquelin in the buildup for the goal while also branding the forty-yard assist from Mesut Ozil as fantastic.

Arsenal reportedly failed to complete a move for Edinson Cavani after a summer-long pursuit, but recent reports claim that the player himself will ensure the rumour comes to fruition in January, according to a gibberish report from Metro.
The Uruguay international has gone off to a brilliant start to the campaign scoring five goals in six competitive games for Paris Saint-Germain and there should not be any reason for him to be unhappy when he has hit a purple patch of form for a club that challenge for Ligue 1 title, not to mention Champions League, of course.

Arsenal strikers have been widely slammed for being unproductive in front of the goal, but manager Arsene Wenger has come for the rescue of his boys stating that the likes of Olivier Giroud can even notch up twenty goals this season.
The 64-year-old manager subtly launched an attack on fans stating that they expect strikers to be absolutely successful whilst they are unready to nurture them with trust and added that goals would be spread through the squad unlike the times when Robin van Persie donned the red and white shirt.

Thomas Vermaelen claims Spanish giants and Arsenal are similar
The Gunners are murmured to play the same attractive brand of football as European juggernauts Barcelona and Thomas Vermaelen seemed to reiterate the same whilst talking to their official website on Friday morning.
"Arsenal and Barcelona share the same philosophy. They are teams, who want to play football to entertain, to avoid long balls, to keep the ball on the ground, scoring as much as possible and create a lot of chances."
The former Arsenal skipper put an accent on the desire of the club to play entertaining football and their determination to avoid dirty or perhaps, cheap aspects of the modern game, but also stated that the London side always try to score as much as possible. Let us say that Belgian was not stating that banteringly.
