According to The Express, PSG have run out of patience with the form of Uruguayan superstar Edinson Cavani.

Both Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi were fined and dropped by PSG this week after failing to report for a winter training camp in Morocco. Cavani however has claimed he was only visiting his friend German Fernandez ahead of his Doha Rally.

According to the Metro, it seems as though the transfer saga of Krystian Bielik moving toward completion. This comes following statements from Bielik’s agent claiming he is confident a deal will be finalised within the next few days.

The Gunners have had two bids already rejected and a third one on the way, as reported yesterday so perhaps there has been a breakthrough in negotiations.

Bielik’s agent Cezary Kucharski stated his client could be a gunner by the end of the transfer window:

A lot has been said about Arsenal’s goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and the Gunners’ defending as of late ad it seems the father of the Polish ‘keeper is the latest to weigh in on the situation. In an interview with Przegladu Sportowego, Maciej Szczesny defended his son and blamed Arsenal’s back line for the Gunners’ lacklustre defensive record:

"He made a mistake for the first (Southampton) goal, coming too far from the goal, but please look at the Arsenal defence - how these guys are playing is a disaster, but for some reason, nobody pays any attention to it.”

Fresh reports from L’Equipe today are claiming Arsenal have ended their interest in St. Etienne captain Loic Perrin. According to this source, the Gunners have now made Villarreal player Gabriel Paulista their prime target for January.

This comes as a surprise following reports yesterday that a deal was almost done for the defender. St. Etienne had already begun their search for his replacement as they were convinced the deal was more or less done.

Wojciech Szczesny has now become the centre of attention following his Southampton howlers and smoking incident.

Despite his obvious let-down, Bob Wilson seems to be convinced that the Pole could still feature between the sticks for the Gunners on a regular basis. Speaking to Standard Sport, the Gunners legend cited his heroics at Upton Park to justify his assumption.
