After Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo is rumoured to go through the exit door at Emirates Stadium with clubs from England and France looking to seal a deal for the French striker.

Media suggested earlier this week that Bordeaux wanted to loan him till the end of the season, but L’Equipe have revealed on Friday that a move to the Ligue 1 side is now looking unlikely due to interest from Crystal Palace.

Mesut Ozil has turned to Twitter to remind Arsenal kit man Vic Akers to leave his jersey out in the dressing room for him at the weekend.

"Vic, just don't forget to put my shirt back in the dressing room on Sunday!"

Ozil looks certain to make a return to football this week after sending out this tweet. The world-cup winner has been out with a knee injury for nearly three months now, an injury which required surgery.

He also heaped praise on Mesut Özil stating that he’s an exceptional footballer. Chances are little that he becomes an automatic selection since he’s not completely match fit as of now.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was at the Arsenal training ground today for a visit and Joel Campbell released a photo with the talismanic striker on his Instagram account with the caption:
