While Mauricio Pochettino is thinking about his Tottenham legacy starting with a comprehensive victory over Arsenal, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has revealed that the Gunners are ready to extend their impressive record over their rivals.
Super Sanchez
The ex-Southampton midfielder, who never got to play under Pochettino, revealed in an interview with Arsenal Player that star summer signing Alexis Sanchez has looked particularly motivated ahead of the weekend.
Oxlade-Chamberlain confirmed that, “Alexis really wanted to train and people had to tell him to take it easy.”

After a super weekend, walking away with all 3 points from Villa Park in emphatic style to say the least and ALL our rivals (Chelsea, City, Liverpool & Everton) dropping points makes for an awesome week ahead.
Some may ask “what about Spurs and United”, I say “yeah what about them”. This was definitely the confidence booster our boys needed after City and Dortmund. It can get better, 3 straight home fixtures, WIN ALL and the boys will be up for Chelsea away with Walcott back in the mix.

Saturday afternoon saw Arsenal get their second win of the season and their first since the opening day. After the awful display in Dortmund midweek this was more like it from Arsenal.
However, Arsenal didn’t have it all their own way as they could have been 2-0 down if it wasn’t for Szchesny making two very good saves, the second a fantastic save from a free header by Ciaran Clark.

Guess what, old campaigners like Gabby Agbonlahor know this more than any other player on the park, including the Arsenal 11. This match is always intense and yields as many fouls as playing Sunday afternoon league.
Arsenal will be up against a rejuvenated Villa outfit, this the first time since the departure of Martin O’Neill does this Villa club resemble anything with self-belief, all this without their talisman Benteke who gave us all scares the last time we visited Villa park.
