A disappointing performance but three points none the less. All the talk was about the protest in the 12 minute which turned out to be as half-hearted as Arsenal’s title challenge. It was the substitute Welbeck who grabbed the three points and moves Arsenal that one step closer to getting in the top four again.

Another game and more dropped points from Arsenal. Although having most of the possession it was Cech who was the busier of the keepers. However, the one positive was the return of Wilshere.

Arsenal blew the chance to move back up to third and dropped points from a winning position once again. Arsenal dominated the game and took the lead through an Alexis Sanchez header but this was cancelled out through a Bolasie goal which should have been saved by the returning Cech.

A delightful performance from Arsenal who won their first home game in four and made it back to back wins in the league just to add a bit of pressure on Spurs and Leicester. Goals from Alexis, Iwobi, Bellerin and Walcott were enough to make the home side win comfortably.

The early kick off saw Arsenal claim an important win thanks to goals from Welbeck and premier league debutant Alex Iwobi. Arsenal were excellent first half pressing high up the pitch and playing some of their best football of the season.
