In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Arsenal legend Robert Pires has admitted that he is angling for a return to North London.
Few can argue with the fact that Robert Pires is one of the greatest ever attacking players to have donned the famous Arsenal jersey.
Pires joined the Gunners from Marseille during the summer of 2000 as a replacement for the recently departed Marc Overmars and he most certainly had a huge job on his hands to fill the boots of the Dutchman.

Speaking to Telefoot (Team Talk in English), Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny has reiterated his happiness at the Emirates Stadium but has also admitted that an exit in the future is possible.
Koscielny was signed by Arsenal from Lorient during the summer of 2010 for a fee believed to be in the region of around £9 million and it would be fair to state that not many fans in England were aware of the defender’s abilities.
Naturally, Koscielny initially found it difficult to adapt to life in the Premier League but his struggles did not last long and the defender soon managed to establish himself as a mainstay in the Arsenal backline.

Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott has gone on to hail the ‘fantastic’ support from the fans during the clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw against rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on Sunday and the failure to claim a victory on the day meant that the Gunners missed out on a fine chance to head into the international break at the summit of the Premier League table.
Following the clash, there is understandably a sense of disappointment among the Arsenal fans – especially given the fact that the Gunners had managed to position themselves so well for a victory with a very good performance in the first half.

As quoted by English publication the Daily Express, Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has stated that his side should have been calmer in front of goal during the clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
The much anticipated North London derby between fierce rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday and although both teams would have desperately wanted all three points from the encounter, the result at the end was perhaps a fair one.
Having dominated the proceedings in the first half, Arsenal took the lead on the 42nd minute after Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer diverted the ball into his own goal from a wicked Mesut Ozil delivery.

Arsenal are keen on securing the services of Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez, according to reports from the Sun.
With Per Mertesacker being ruled out for the long-term at the start of the season, Arsenal fans were crying out for the club to sign a world-class central defender this summer and although it took a bit longer than anticipated, the Gunners granted the supporters’ wishes by splashing the cash to sign Shkodran Mustafi.
Mustafi cost Arsenal around £35 million and while the fee can most certainly be considered a very high one, the German international already looks well worth the money judging by his performances so far this season.
