After weeks of speculation, Arsenal finally announced the signing of Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw for an undisclosed fee, which is believed to be around £2.5 million

A statement from Arsenal read:

“Arsenal have completed the signing of 17-year-old midfielder Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw for an undisclosed fee.”

According to reports from Spain, Gabriel Paulista will shortly join Arsenal from Villarreal for a fee believed to be in the region of £15 million.

After Mathieu Debuchy returned to action against Galatasaray last month, very few expected that Arsene Wenger would sign a defender, but the Frenchman picked up a shoulder injury recently prompting his manager to look for new defenders.

Thanks to his phenomenal form with Palermo this season, Arsenal are reportedly interested in bringing Paulo Dybala down to Emirates Stadium this summer to bolster their striking options for the future.

His current contract with the Italian outfit runs until summer 2016 and Italian media have already started discussing his next destination. The striker was believed to be extending his stay for three years, but fresh reports from Italy claim that contract renewal talks between the Argentine and club has fallen apart.

News circulating today around media outlets is that Santi Cazorla is wanted by Barcelona captain Xavi.

Speculation comes after Cazorla played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s victory against Manchester City. Cazorla showed his all-round ability with a goal and assist as well as a disciplined performance. The midfielder worked tirelessly and often put in important tackles so there is no surprise Barcelona are being linked with him.

Arsenal are to offer defensive midfielder, Francis Coquelin a new long term deal at the Emirates, according to various reports.

This comes off the back of some outstanding performances over the last month. Coquelin has returned from a loan move from Charlton and has fought his way into the squad and has played in nearly every game since he has returned.
