Despite QPR’s evident inferiority, Arsenal once again made what should have been an easy game into a bit of an ordeal.
A bizarre situation
I was almost reluctant to celebrate when Walcott put away the only goal of the match within a minute. It caught me off guard to such an extent that I let out a surprised chuckle rather than my usual ecstatic bellow.
It must be said that QPR’s defending in the run up to the goal was farcical and it wasn’t overly difficult for us to take the lead. Nevertheless, credit has to be given to the run of Rosicky, whose run down the right wing made the move look like a serious threat.

From a football perspective, this was one of the worst games of the season, in which it was clear to see how QPR have been relegated. From an Arsenal perspective, it was their 6th win in 7 Premier League matches, and currently puts them 3rd in the table.
Wojciech Szczesny - 7 – Looks to be over his wobbly spell from earlier in the season, which was necessary given the pressure Arsenal came under at times. He made some timely punches clear form corners, and made a good save late on from Loic Remy.

Another game gone, and the unbeaten run continues. The newly crowned champions came to town, and played out an compelling – if rather erratic – 1-1 draw.
Wojciech Szczesny - 7 – A solid presence, and made an outstanding save (from the Peter Schmiechel playbook) to deny Robin Van Persie. Couldn't do anything about the Dutchman's penalty, but his kicking remains an issue.
Bacary Sagna - 5 – Made a decent start when Arsenal were in the ascendency, but his double error that gifted United their equaliser sent his head into a tailspin. Recovered in the closing minutes, but for too long he was a liability on the pitch, and should have been sent-off.

Many didn’t expect to see an Arsenal-Man United match like that for a few years. Eight players booked and end-to-end action.
It says an awful lot about the quality of Arsenal’s performance that many Gooners are disappointed with a 1-1 draw, a point more than most expected to take from the game.

Arsenal's good form continues, with a 1-0 win over Fulham. But that was the only positive to take. It was a dire display, and with Olivier Giroud being red carded, the Gunners have to play three of their four remaining matches with either Theo Walcott or Lukas Podolski in attack.
Wojciech Szczesny - 7 – Was busier that he might have expected, and made some decent saves. Although, he was reprieved by Sian Massey's offside flag when Fulham (rightly) had a goal disallowed.
