If reports are to be believed Arsenal have made their first signing of the summer and it is Newcastle full-back Mathieu Debuchy.

The French international has been playing for Les Blues during the 2014 World Cup and has a clash against Germany to look forward too, however he has still found the time to finalise a move according to the Daily Star.

Arsenal search for a new hitman has been well documented since the end of the Premier League season and the Gunners have been linked with a number of World Cup forwards.

One World Cup forward, who will likely face Brazil on Friday, is open to a move to the Emirates if reports are to be believed.

Arsenal have opened talks with highly rated Belgian youngster David Henen and look set to beat competition from both Manchester United and City for the forwards signature.

The Anderlecht striker is tipped to make as big an impact as Adnan Januzaj should he move to the Premier League and the Daily Mail believe it is likely.

Talented and impressive record

Mail state that while Henen has yet to establish himself in the Anderlecht first team, his goalscoring record at youth level is impressive and he has represented Belgium international at youth level.

Arsenal pursuit of Alexis Sanchez has received some bad news as it was confirmed that various clubs have made offers for the Chile superstar.

The Barcelona man enjoyed an excellent World Cup and was undoubtedly one of the stars of the tournament, demonstrated with the sadness Chile and Sanchez’s exit last Saturday received.

Now that the attacker is free from international duty a transfer away from the Camp Nou can start to take place.
