After Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky signed new deals for Arsenal today there was more good news on that front.

This news concerns our welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey who is about to sign a new 5 year deal according to the Telegraph. It is expected to be confirmed at a later date and there is speculation it will be for 100k a week.

This will put him on par with the likes of Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott and behind Mesut Ӧzil.

Santi Cazorla is believed to have joined Rosicky and the BFG Per Mertesacker in signing a new Arsenal contract.

This is all very welcomed and positive news for the club and teammates as positive news brings positivity to the team.

The Spaniard has been a standout and fan favourite since signing for the club in 2012 from Spanish side Malaga. This does not seem to be a surprise as Wenger is known to reward players for doing well and what better than giving the player a new contract.

Bacary Sagna is said to be heading into his final contract negotiations with Arsenal. He has been a stand out player in recent years for the club with a great attacking peril as well as outstanding defensive performances.

The Club is believed to have offered the player a two-year contract extension with more-or-less the same wages, however the player is looking to finish his career on a high and wants a three-year deal with an increase in wages to around £90,000-a-week.

With the player coming to the end of his current contract, Arsenal have to consider either increasing his current wages or investing money into a new right-back and be open to losing out on him and giving him away for free.

One week he’s paraded as god and the next he’s the devil. I must only be talking about one man and that is Arsene Wenger.

After yesterday’s performance Wenger has come under a massive amount of criticism from Arsenal fans and this was expected but let’s get one thing straight the players are to blame as well.

Players underperformed and Wenger even openly laid into his players which is unusual for him. This is what he told journalists and was placed  in the Mirror.

Even the Dalai Lama would lose faith in this Arsenal yet fans continue to pay the ransom in support of lacking in fight, will to win and a pride in self and club.

Beaten, by a penalty, at Stoke, having only registered 2 shots on target to be followed by the cream of Europe, the Premier League and Spurs. It's all like water to a drowning man.

It is the cliche; the next game is most important, but the next five is decisive and potentially fatal. Arsenal could be king but psychological frailty could make us king makers unless focus can be regained with a full strength lung-busting display and win vs Everton.

Only such a result against a team our players evidently fear would have provided the needed impetus this team needs to now challenge for the adulation they enjoyed for 17 weeks at the top.
